Darren Lim
Pastor Darren L. Lim was born and raised in Oakland, California. He is a 3rd generation American-born Chinese. Pastor Darren received his Bachelor’s Degree from Tennessee Temple University (now Piedmont International University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina); his Master’s Degree from Talbot School of Theology (La Mirada, CA) and his Doctorate from Covington Theological Seminary (Rossville, GA). Pastor Darren has been in pastoral ministry for over 30 years.
Prior to becoming the Pastor of English ministries at the 4th Home of Christ in West San Jose, he previously served in four other bicultural Chinese churches in California and one multicultural church in Tennessee. He is also currently Professor at Bay Cities Bible College (Oakland, CA) where he is the chairperson of the Pastoral Ministries Department. Pastor Darren is married to Melissa and they have two children, Deanna and Joshua.
